Ready to finally stop feeling overwhelmed with life, friends, relationships? Want to see your child thrive again?
Julie M. Goch, LPCC
Do you or your child remember a time when worrisome thoughts, negative self-talk, feeling alone, or misunderstood weren't the daily norm? Those days feel like a distant memory now. Don't you wish you or your child had the tools to change that?
You’ve come to the right place.
I’m Julie and I help children, teens, and young adults just like you: ones that have it within them to conquer those fears and anxieties, but just need the support to get there.
I help my clients find confidence, happiness, and independence by equipping them with the tools they need to have a better sense of self.
Many of today’s solutions for children, teens, & young adults struggling with anxiety or depression are a one-size-fits-all approach, pushing you or your child to places that you may not be ready to go and ultimately causing more vulnerability and fear. I know that my clients’ circumstances are unique, so I teach techniques for immediate use and long-term relief. Together, we create a safe, understanding, non-judgmental space that is tailored to each client.
First, we explore the root of the anxiety or depression that are causing feelings of being overwhelmed or paralyzed by fear. Then, we work on developing immediate coping strategies that will be most effective. By the end of our time together, my clients are equipped to conquer their anxiety or depression and lead a life of contentment.
I am someone you can trust.
My training in anxiety and depression with children, teens, & young adults means I have the expertise you need and deserve when conquering these challenges. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be someone struggling with anxiety or depression, right?
I get it because I've struggled with my own anxiety as a child and depression as an adult. I know there are some days where it seems like you just don't have it in you to face another moment of difficulty. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you or your child are going through. I've been practicing therapy for over 10 years and spent most of my career working with children, teens and young adults from a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, bullying, behavioral issues, school concerns, parenting/coaching and family therapy. I take a great deal of pride in my work and enjoy working with my patients on a daily basis and that shows in my work. Being an independent practice owner gives me the freedom to develop a business catering to the populations I serve best and will thrive in treating and who will thrive in treatment with me.
